Why take private lessons?
Private lessons are an integral part of a musician’s progress because they provide the opportunity to study with a professional musician on their specific instrument. Through private lessons, students will move at their own pace and understand exactly what to practice and how to practice.
My Philosophy
I believe that private lessons should be a truly individualized experience. I pride myself on being adaptable and creative in finding approaches to teaching that resonate with each student. The heart of my teaching is that everything must be done with a beautiful sound and a strong musical concept. Together, we will focus on building a solid fundamental base and cultivating a healthy approach to playing so that technical challenges won’t get in the way of making music.
